Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 24, 2026 · Last Updated: July 24, 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Talos Document Sentinel, a product of Innovative Vision X LLC (DBA Innovix Dynamix). It describes how Talos handles information in connection with document analysis sessions.

1. Information Talos Does Not Ask You to Provide

Talos currently has no user accounts, mailing list, or payment flow. The analysis interface does not ask for:

  • Your name, email, or contact information
  • Account credentials or login data
  • Profile preferences or saved analysis history
  • Browsing history for advertising or behavioral profiling
  • Device fingerprints or persistent identifiers

2. Document Handling

2.1 Hosting and Analysis Session

Vercel hosts the Talos website and a server-side endpoint that obtains a short-lived, audience-restricted Google identity token for an analysis session. Vercel does not receive the uploaded file or extracted document text through that endpoint. After the token is issued, your browser sends the document directly to Google Cloud Run. Vercel may process ordinary website and token-request metadata, such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path, response status, and infrastructure logs.

2.2 Temporary Processing by Innovix

Documents you upload to Talos are:

  • Transferred directly from your browser to Google Cloud Run over encrypted HTTPS
  • Written briefly to Cloud Run's ephemeral filesystem for text extraction
  • Deleted from that temporary filesystem when extraction finishes or fails
  • Not written by Talos to a customer database or permanent document store

2.3 Anthropic API Transmission

To generate analysis, extracted document text is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC via their API.

What is transmitted:

  • Text content extracted from your document, which may itself contain personal or confidential information
  • Document type, party perspective, and jurisdiction selections you provided
  • Anonymous document-boundary markers when multiple files are reviewed together

What is NOT transmitted:

  • Identity or contact information separately collected by Talos, because Talos does not request it
  • The original file, original filename, or file metadata

Anthropic processes this data under its Commercial Terms and privacy policies. Anthropic states that standard commercial API inputs and outputs are not used for model training unless the customer has agreed otherwise, and that standard API inputs and outputs are generally deleted from its backend within 30 days, subject to its documented exceptions. Talos does not currently have a separate zero-data-retention agreement with Anthropic. Review Anthropic's current policy at: https://www.anthropic.com/privacy

2.4 Official-Source Jurisdiction Research

When a state is selected or governing-law wording is detected, Talos may use the Brave Search API to locate current official government sources. The search query contains state names, the general document category, and review-topic labels. Talos does not place your contract text, party names, original filename, or quoted clauses into that web-search query. Source websites and search infrastructure may process ordinary request metadata under their own policies. Search-result excerpts may then be included as context in the separate contract-analysis request.

2.5 Service Providers

Innovix does not sell uploaded document content. Vercel hosts the website and short-lived session-token endpoint, Google Cloud hosts the Talos analysis service and processes the upload, Anthropic processes extracted text to produce the analysis, and Brave Search may process limited jurisdiction/topic search queries that exclude contract text. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their processing.

3. Technical Data

Talos, Vercel, and Google Cloud may process technical data needed to operate and protect the service:

  • Request identifiers, timestamps, response status, and infrastructure logs
  • Network information, which may include an IP address in provider logs
  • A salted hash of the request IP held temporarily in application memory for rate limiting
  • Infrastructure health metrics

Talos is designed not to write document text to application logs. Infrastructure providers may retain operational metadata according to their own policies.

4. Cookies

Talos does not set application cookies or use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, or persistent browser storage for document analysis. Infrastructure providers may use limited security or deployment-protection mechanisms and process related technical data under their own policies.

5. Children's Privacy

Talos is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

6. Your Rights

Talos does not maintain a user account or persistent analysis history that you can access through the product. Privacy requests concerning Innovix-controlled records may be submitted through the contact link below. Provider-held data is governed by the applicable provider's policies and contractual retention periods.

7. Data Security

Document transfers use HTTPS/TLS. Talos restricts accepted file types and sizes, deletes temporary uploads after extraction, and can display non-blocking warnings for several sensitive-data patterns. Pattern matching may produce false positives or miss sensitive information. Talos does not include matched sensitive values in its response. No system is guaranteed secure, and those controls are not a substitute for redacting information that is unnecessary for review.

8. Documents You Should Not Upload

Do not upload classified information, controlled unclassified information, export-controlled material, Social Security numbers, payment-card security codes, protected health information, or documents you are not authorized to disclose. Talos does not treat its automated warning as a reliable classification system and does not block a document solely because a pattern is detected. You remain responsible for deciding what you are authorized to submit.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
